Presently we are keeping orphans in two houses, Eric's House and the Haven. Soon we hope to have a third house, Haven 2.

We have just returned from Canada/USA. We spent the first few days of July in Victoria, British Colombia for Jason and Cintia's wedding. Next came an Alaska Cruise--a delayed promise to Kathi. She was supposed to have this on our tenth anniversary. Four years late is better than never!

The last two weeks of July we spent in Nebraska, clearing out Kathi's dad's house and preparing it for sale. He was a collector! We gave away several loads of furniture, had a garage sale to clear more stuff, and still overfilled a 20 foot roll-off! I ached in places I didn't know could ache.

Back home in Zambia, all our kids were "in"! This is a rare event, as there are too many schools/colleges involved with different holiday schedules. I could not get a picture of all the gang at one go, so here is picture #1 -- the 24 older kids.
