Texas Christian Radio Station to Interview Zambia MissionTeam Members Zambia Mission Fund announced today that three Zambia Medical Mission team members will be appearing on the morning show at Christian radio station KGNZ (88.1 FM) in Abilene, Thursday June 14th. Zambia Medical Mission begins July 7th in the Southern Province of Zambia. More than one hundred volunteers from the United States will join up to 250 Zambian volunteers for the mission effort which is expected to treat over 16,000 individuals in a two week period. READ MORE >> Zambia Mission Fund Encourages Supporters to Engage with the Joyful Noise Project Zambia Mission Fund (ZMF) announced today that Jessalyn Claire Studios of Abilene Texas has obtained 35% of the funding needed to allow her to produce the film The Joyful Noise Project: a Film About the Phonetics of Hope. Jessalyn Massingill, owner of Jessalyn Claire Studios is using Kickstarter.com to seek support and input from the art community to provide the funds necessary to complete the projesct. Premiums are being provided for supporters which include limited print photos, limited print art work, digital downloads and original art pieces. Massingill intends to donate proceeds from the film’s premier to Zambia Zonal Health Centre and other ZMF projects. The project will culminate in a film that will premiere September 29th at the historic Paramount Theatre in Abilene, Texas. READ MORE >> Zambia Mission Promotes Orphan Care Through Sale of "Bana" Bags Zambia Mission announced today that they are giving away up to 1300 "Bana" bags during their Tree of Mercy Benefit event. The bags are made by Zambian women primarily using treadle sewing machines and are sold to create revenue that supports orphans in Zambia. The Bana Bag project was conceived by two Colorado Springs, Colorado women who saw that huge number of families in Zambia take in orphans and wanted to provide a way to help.
